Hi.

Welcome to my blog! I'm Nicole, and I love all things fashion. My goal is to find a marriage between high style and a low budget. I aim to look great but keep things affordable so that I can live my best life while saving my pennies. Here I will show you how to do both! Follow along, wont you!?

Pleated Maxi Skirt...

Pleated Maxi Skirt...

Top: Boohoo // Skirt: Banana Republic // Belt: Banana Republic // Shoes: Banana Republic, similar here // Sunnies: Le Specs      The piece that I want to focus on in todays post is the pleated maxi skirt. I am pretty short so I never really thought a maxi skirt, especially a full one with pleats, would look good on me. This skirt from Banana Republic actually comes in petite, so that of course helped a lot as far as the fit went. But the skirt in general is absolutely beautiful, from the fit to the pattern and pleats, I love it all! I found that this type of skirt looks a lot better on me when I pair it with a wide belt like the one above. It pulls the look together and really brings out my waist line, which makes the skirt feel and look more feminine. Pleats are also a trend that has grown on me as I have gotten older. Adding the pleats with the floral design really make this skirt stand out for me and I love that about it. My brother and I actually went walking in the park this day along the water and ended up walking upon some of the best photo locations for this outfit! I'm in love with these cute little white benches and will definitely be bringing someone special back here for a picnic ( my dog of course!). Anyways thanks for stopping by and keep following for more new looks!!! Ciao!
